The fact that pupils are all transported by taxi from across Shropshire means we have adopted a creative approach to enrichment opportunities, which necessarily cannot routinely be arranged after school. We therefore run three activities sessions each fortnight as part of our school day.
The activities we have run this year are: Archery, forest schools, art projects, bike riding, boxing, car valeting, climbing wall, dog walking, driving range, film club, fishing, football, Pool, girls club, horticulture, squash, swimming and trampolining.
We also regularly visit Arthog during December, which are highly successful trips that are enjoyed by the pupils. Pupils have also represented school in matches and tournaments, including football games against two local schools, a football tournament at the Sports Village in Shrewsbury and a cricket tournament at Lilleshall.
